Nordplus - Nordex

The Nordplus programme is a scholarship programme for university level teachers and students. The goal for Nordplus has since the start in 1988 been to strengthen the cooperation between the universities for international studies. By creating this platform for lecturers and students, you can establish new contacts and learn to work in a cross cultural environment. Read more about how you apply for scholarships under "Scholarships". Scolarships are available for appliation until September 2014!

Nordex is about sustainable energy technology and through the Nordplus network Nordex seeks to intensify the Nordic cooperation within this area and to broaden the network to new countries in the Baltic States.

Between 2006 and 2011 Nordex arranged international project semesters. The theme for the projects were always renewable energy though the cases varied from year to year. A concept for energy self sufficient villages was developed in 2007 and in 2008 the students investigated how a midsize company could make its energy usage more sustainable. In 2009 the project was about sustainable energy sources and how to make a local greenhouse association energy self sufficient with alternative energy sources. Read more about the projects under "Earlier Projects".

The project semesters were arranged at Novia University of Applied Sciences, Finland.  Novia UAS decided to let the Nordex project rest during 2013 - but we might be back soon...at Novia or at another University...
